Nanny Description

A nanny or child care provider is a domestic staffing professional who provides care for one or more children in an Employer family. Key responsibilities of a Nanny include organizing and coordinating the children’s activities, preparing their meals, and keeping their rooms and play areas clean. Additional duties might include driving, doing the children’s laundry, performing light cleaning, doing light cooking, running errands, providing tutoring, etc.

Nannies, like other domestic workers, may live in or out of their Employer’s residence, depending on their circumstances and those of their Employer. Professional Nannies are often certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), knowledgeable about First Aid, and have strong experience in child care. Moreover, a Nanny may have attended college for several years or have a college degree.

Salary for a Nanny depends on your location, the particular job requirements (e.g., the number of children to be cared for), and the level of experience of the Nanny Candidate. Benefits, perks, and other forms of compensation provided by the Employer also affect salary requirements.

Our Staffing Specialists can help you find the right Childcare Professional for a range of positions, including the following:
